Economic stimulus my ass

So everyone must be very happy that Bush and Congress have passed a bill for an economic stimulus package, we all should get a check by summer. What they left out is that to give Americans these checks they will borrow the money from foreign investors, possibly China. Is that really what Americans want? Is that even a viable solution? So to put a band-aid on a failing economy caused by a severe lack of leadership once more they sell the soul of our country to do it. So what about this check, it amounts to a few hundred dollars in the pockets of Americans is it worth it ? Absolutely not, and here is why, because most people will use it to pay for gas and heating oil. So we borrow billions to pay for the program from foreign investors then the majority of the money will go right to the oil companies. This will prove to be little if any help to our economy, in fact it just raises the debt even more. Why do you think Bush even agreed to it in the first place, he knows damn well where the money will go. right into the pockets of his oil buddies. I believe if most people were aware that the money will be borrowed from China they would NOT want the check in the first place. That is why my wife and myself if we get said check will be sending right back to the govt. I will not be part of the destruction of this country. I urge all Americans to tear them up and send them back to the Federal Govt. we do not need this kind of help. We can not continue to sell our soul to China or any other foreign investor as a means to reverse the mistakes an miss-steps of this administration. Trillions in debt now and the grand solution that both parties come up with is to borrow money we do not have to send everyone a check, what fools. What can you really do to help the economy with a few hundred dollars? Most will by a few groceries, pay a few back bills or by gas for their cars, no stimulus there just more debt and a false belief that the govt has done us a favor when in fact they have just screwed our economy further. We do not need these checks, we need leadership, we need a new president, we need to reverse the tax credits to the wealthy. Trickle down economics has never worked , it didn't for Reagan and it will not work now. Corporations do not let money trickle down, what we need is a trickle up economy. Cut taxes to the common man so HE has more to spend at the end of the day on products, and by the way it only helps if you buy American products, not Chinese, not Mexican. Not only has Bush been the worse president in American history he is probably the worse businessman in America, of course that is what his past history has shown. But then again he has been bailed out by the Saudis numerous times so it must seem like a natural thing to do for him. Why do we listen to these idiots about cutting taxes to companies that are making more money than ever in history, what are they doing to help our economy come back? Not a damn thing that is what, they are capitalistic vampires sucking the lifeblood out of Americas future to line their own pockets and secure their own fortunes. People if we do not wake up very , very soon, we will hit the brink of no return. The stimulus this country needs is Bush out of the White House, Republicans fiscally conservative, what a joke, not in my lifetime I can tell you that and I am almost 50 years old. I remember the term in the Reagan admin, the Rape, Ruin and run Boys, and that is all we have now, same ole thing. So ladies and gentleman I urge you do not accept this dirty money, take your check , rip it up and send it back to the fed, do not take part in the raping of America it just is not worth it. Think about your children's future. If Bush wants to help this countries economy the best thing he can do is nothing more thank you. I for one will not put more money in the pockets of oil companies nor will I feed the debt with dirty money. Give Bush and Congress a clear message that they should take their smoke and mirror show back to the carnival in Crawford Texas . Ivy Leaguers what a joke.
